Where and When


Classes typically begin close to the ground, arriving, feeling and sensing into the body, connecting to the breath and exploring gentle release work. Learning to let go of unnecessary tension we help to unlock long-held postural and breathing patterns. Gently mobilising the joints and freeing the spine in a kind and supportive way to prepare for sitting, standing, walking and balancing.

The whole nature of this practice is explorative, slow and mindful, less guided by what we think, but by what we feel when we engage with ourselves and in relation to the ground and space. Moving from a deeper place within ourselves, we can reveal a new sense of aliveness and energy and enjoy a more integrated and fluid state of well-being. Each class ends with a guided form of somatic meditation to bring the body and mind together into a deep state of relaxation.

I invite you to join our friendly community no matter your level of experience. Live classes are 60 minutes with an additional 15 minutes of guided somatic meditation which is offered as an optional extra.

Class Schedule

In person weekly classes at Gretton Village Hall on:

  • Tuesdays 6.30pm
  • Thurdays 9.30am

60 minute class plus an additional 15 min guided somatic meditation (optional)

Gretton classes are offered in a seven week block. Classes are progressive and the benefits are cumulative, so there are no drop ins. Where there are special circumstances, please drop me a line for consideration.

You are welcome to trial a class for £12 cash at the door. Subsequent classes are then payable on a per term basis.

Bring a yoga mat and a blanket. Wear comfortable, loose clothing and layers are always a good idea.

People usually arrive 10 minutes before class to get settled in.

Cheltenham Class Dates 2023

Extended Scaravelli-inspired classes are held in Cheltenham at Orange Yoga Studio. Monthly Sundays 4.30pm – 6pm (90 minutes)

Do less, feel more. Allow things to unfold naturally without much strain or force.

“I always look forward to Tuesdays, as this means yoga with Claudia!  The sessions at Gretton are friendly, safe and relaxed.  I love the gentle explorative yoga that Claudia introduces us to, using the breath to fully ‘let go’ to release held tension and to soften.  It’s sometimes challenging to master, but such a useful tool to also slowdown the mind and chaos of daily life.  If I had time, I’d sign up for 2 or 3 sessions a week! “
